@MojangStatus minecraft updater corrupted my launcher into being unable to start; installer to fix launcher did its job, but now the update download won't finish. Using windows 10.

@MojangSupport Minecraft Updater gets 3/4 of the way through of downloading files, then dies. No indication of doing anything in task manager.
