@MojangSupport Hi guys, just bought a realm for me and a friend. We are experiencing some minor lag with placing blocks, breaking blocks and fighting mobs. We both play on Ethernet connection so we don’t know what’s wrong. We tried resetting the realm with no luck.

Hmm, it could be due to stuff like your antivirus/firewall slowing your connection down. Can you try disabling it / allowing Minecraft through to test if that improves your latency? ^IV

I play on PlayStation 5. Would it make a difference for consoles or is this more of a PC specific fix?

I think my realm might be hosted by the wrong server. I played on a Mojang featured server this morning which had 30 ping and felt great. Maybe my realm isn’t hosted in Sydney? I live in New Zealand
