@MojangSupport how do I share my Minecraft Microsoft store purchase with my son's Xbox account? Yes, he is in my 'family'. Gives me demo only and login doesn't match Microsoft store account error

Isn't the point of a family account to share my purchase of the game with my son's xbox live(Microsoft) account?

Unfortunately, since Minecraft: Java Edition is not a Microsoft Store app, it is not eligible to be added to a Family Group to share like Bedrock. For more info about the Java & Bedrock Bundle, see our FAQ here: bit.ly/3HuPahp ^IV
