@MojangSupport I am having a very hard time trying to get minecraft set up on my ps5 to play through my Microsoft account. I keep getting an error message saying it has already been linked but I don't believe I ever did this.

This is the message I get every time. I only have a single Microsoft account and a single Playstation account. What gives?

It looks like your PlayStation Network account has already been linked to another Microsoft account. The link between the accounts is permanent, so you'll need to try logging in with any other Microsoft accounts you may have used. ^IV

my current outlook account used to be a hotmail, but it's still the same account - or should be. the only other thing I can think of is that my PS account used to be tied to a yahoo email instead of the current outlook but I bought PS4 minecraft well after that change

I think what is most frustrating it that there is absolutely no way to see which accounts are connected to what. Like, I can't even check if it was some really old account I forgot about from years ago or something.
