@MojangSupport So my friend plays on windows and I play on switch. Whenever I try to join his world, it would put me in "connecting to multiplayer game" and then connection time out. I have good internet fyi.

This is likely a connection issue; make sure to connect to hardwire if on wifi and power-cycle your device and router. Also, make sure you check that your privacy settings allow online and multiplayer! You can check that out here: bit.ly/3zjgZ6W ^AM

I’m also experiencing a similar issue. I play on windows 10 and my husband and son play on XBOX ONE AND XBOX SERIES X. Today they could only join my world for 20 seconds before they got kicked out with “connection time out” error. These issues just started today.

I powercycled my modem and router and that did not fix the problem. This issue just started recently. We were able to play on my PC Minecraft world with no problem for the last 2 years cross platform. All of a sudden they can’t stay in the world without getting kicked out.

Like I mentioned before they can join for about 20 seconds before they get kicked out with error screen saying “connection timed out.”
