It stops at ā€œgenerating terrainā€ and wonā€™t load any longer

Okay, so this sounds like it's likely corruption of the world itself which is unfortunate. This can happen for many reasons, so it's always a good idea to upload a World to Realms so you can create backups. ^TK

Were you playing on a single-player world or a Realm when this happened? ^BT

If it was a single player world, then you won't be able to retrieve it due to the corruption. ^BT

The same thing happened to me on my Xbox two days ago. Mojang, I know you guys have your own cloud. Canā€™t you just access it and go back to before it was corrupted ??
