Hi, we bought the Java edition (prepaid card, we already have the Switch + PS4 edition) and we couldn't install it with the Microsoft kids account, so I used mine. Can we change that? Or is my account forever tied and needed for the access? Thx for answering

We cannot unlink game purchases from Microsoft accounts. If you have signed up using the wrong Microsoft account, we can't assist in transferring the game to a different account. You might be able to refund the card for a new copy, but it'd depend on the retailer. ^IV
