(Villager warrior patrol etc) which could be toggled by a map that could be crafted with a expensive recipe to enable/disable patrols making connections to trading outposts safer and more enjoyable to make and follow. Could be adapted with a new villager update to make them

Have proper roles like guard, warrior, farmer etc so basically you could send people like in Fallout 4 from settlement to settlement as provisioners or guard the path between settlements going through dangerous caves or such and that would mean that skeletons wouldn't

Be just a annoying obstacle as the bows now have a value because you could give the bow to a guard to protect the settlement/path. Im sure no one would mind as it is a optional thing and I see barely anyone making paths for practical purposes like navigation and such.

And now the villagers could have human rights (not be enslaved by players) because they wouldn't be a stupid sounding annoyance and would help fight. Of course golems would be still useful for having more HP than villagers and maybe do a bit more damage. Just a suggestion
