It may be that your graphics card is not supported by that version. Please try updating your graphics card drivers and making sure your launcher and game are updated to the latest version. ^AM

this also happens to me on newest versions and with newest driver versions :/

If updating your video drivers hasn't helped, it could be that your device does not meet the minimum requirements to run the latest version of Minecraft: Java Edition. Please check if your device meets these requirements or not here: bit.ly/3Jws612. ^FF

@MojangSupport This is a known issue on the newest nvidia drivers (latest 2 versions) since they bring new OpenGL optimisations. However Nvidia does not seem to be aware of the issue and I think Mojang should report this issue to Nvidia in order to get a fix as fast as possible.
