Is it only happening in this World? I just want to rule out some things before I send you up. If you go into creative mode and create a nether portal and go in, does the same thing happen to you? ^BT

What we're asking is if you can go into creative mode and create a nether portal and go in to see if the same thing happens. If it doesn't and you can enter the nether in creative, then it's likely your world is corrupt. ^TK

tried this and it seems ok

This likely means there is corruption in your World and unfortunately, we can't fix that. I would suggest building another one in the same World just to rule out it isn't a glitch with that nether portal. ^TK
