@MojangSupport seeking advice. I would like to play Minecraft with my grandson as multiplayer and not include others. He is on PC and I am on MAC. I Believe we need Java version. Do I need to setup my own server? And download the game to my server?

Great questions and more than happy to help! First, it doesn't matter if you get Java or Bedrock, you both just have to be on the same version. If you're wanting play together you will need to get a Realm which you can purchase with a copy of the game. ^TK

Ok so my grandson already has Java on his PC. So it sounds like i should buy the Java version of Realms. For the monthly price does this include hosting on MS or Minecraft? Or do I have to buy Realms and download to my own server? So then create a folder on my Bluehost server?
