@MojangSupport I have a Realm for my kids and their friends. They very frequently can't connect to the Realm on consoles for days/weeks at a time because the server is "outdated". I'm not interested in paying money for a server that doesn't work a third of the time.

This usually happens when the Realms version and console versions don't match. Be sure to check for updates (instructions on manual updating can be found here bit.ly/3zQm08v) and let us know if you are updated to the latest version and still running into that error. ^AM

That page provides no information on how to manually update on Switch. I closed the game and opened it again (which will ask you to update) but it didn't update. Is the "server outdated" description not accurate? Does it mean "doesn't match"? That seems like a big difference.

All players attempting to access the Realm must be running the latest version of Minecraft. Update instructions for the Switch can be found at bit.ly/3vClCYM. Give it 24 hours after all players are running the latest version and try again. Let us know if this works! ^FF
