@MojangSupport I've been trying to re-install Minecraft for over a week now, and nothing has worked. I have been stuck on this page, with no progress from the loading bar. Tried restarting etc, nothing. Anything you can do to help?

Yeah I had to just install the Windows 8/7 version, and then it worked perfectly. I have the launcher with the other Minecraft games on the side. Just install the 8/7 version if you're having problems.
