@MojangSupport I bought Minecraft in 2010 but no longer know my username. I have a PayPal transaction ID. In this article on your website it says you can verify ownership with a transaction ID: help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/…. Can you help me out? Your email support closed my ticket.

That guidance is for newer Mojang accounts, and the PayPal transaction ID might be too old to verify/doesn't match the Legacy account. Do you have a ticket number so I can take a peek? ^AM
