This may be just a connection issue, you may want to switch to hardwire rather than WiFi if you haven't already, and have you tried loading any backups from before the update to rule out potential corruption? ^AM

Have you tried rebooting your router? This can help improve your connection. I'd also recommend checking your firewall/antivirus settings to rule out any issues there. Let us know if you're still having any of these issues at all! ^FF
