Update broke the game more than fixed it. Mostly (graphical) performance related. My guess is some code got changed on accident while updating because it worked fine before. Chunks not loading when flying, black shades under leaf blocks, and texture incompatibilities.

Bedrock Xbox one Resource pack issues have been solved. But all of us on the realm be it android, PC, pd4 or Xbox one are having the same issues. It's not platform related whatsoever

Sounds like it could be an issue with the Realm itself, could you try uploading a previous backup of the Realm from before the update to see if that changes anything? We also suggest disabling any texture packs, and let us know if that helps! ^AM

There hasn't been an option to back up on our Xbox client. So we have none. The owner is xbox based.

As for the texture packs, they work again as of today. Any clues as to why this could be?

Well yes, like I said the performance issues aren't pack related. Black shade under trees and chunks no longer loading when flying. Sometimes it's so bad it throws you out if flight and kills you.after a little googling this is a wide-spread issue. Hope we will see a hotfix soon.
