@MojangSupport i didnt recieve my free cape after i had bought minecraft windows 10 edition a long time ago was sent an email about a free cape

If you're eligible for the Vanilla cape, keep in mind it may take up to two weeks for it to show up in your dressing room and skin customization menu. Check out our Vanilla Cape FAQ which has further info on eligibility: bit.ly/3cyNyGL. ^FF
