@Minecraft @Mojang @MojangSupport There is an issue with the Minecraft Launcher currently where it gets stuck on a loop update installation causing it to open and close every few seconds. It essentially bricks your PC until you restart it.

A couple steps to try is uninstall/reinstall and check the firewall/antivirus to see if Minecraft has permissions! The antivirus/firewall may view it as a threat and could cause crashing. ^TK
