Are you having trouble resetting a password on a Mojang account, or is this for a Microsoft account? Any details you can provide about what's going on and which version/platform of the game that you're playing on will be helpful! ^FF

i have a microsoft account to but i want to change my username but i dont know how because it requires password but idk my password. (im using microsoft account i think.)

To reset your password from the launcher, select "Go Back" to return to the login selection screen, and follow the prompts to login with a Microsoft account. After entering your Microsoft email, you'll see a 'Forgot Password?' link.​ ^FF

when i click forget password, it dosent send me the thing. like there is no message from mojang. i’ve been wanting to change my password for so long now. :(

If you're still not getting the password reset you're going to need to submit a ticket up for recovery. Please send us an email at aka.ms/Minecraft-Support and we will assist. Remember to attach your Transaction ID and account name / Gamertag. ^TK
