Hi! My gf previously owned Java and claimed the Bedrock edition for free when the versions merged; however, checking today we found that she no longer owns Java and is being prompted to buy it, or otherwise "Play Demo". Is there anyway to correct this?

Is she making sure that she is logging in through the Microsoft Login and using the correct credentials! Our demo mode faq may be able to provide some troubleshooting steps as well. bit.ly/3cluzz3 ^TK

Yep! She is, she's only had one account and it's been a Microsoft account since this was post-migration. We're just baffled because she can access Bedrock just fine; it's only Java edition that she's been locked out of.
