@MojangSupport I contacted Minecraft support and asked them if I could prove the ownership and identity of my account without the transaction id and they said no and the only solution is to wait for a policy update from Microsoft. Will there even be a policy change?

That means you hit our helper support and they escalated you up! We're a bit backed up but you should be getting a response soon. If you submit another ticket in the future you can just say escalate me up to player support. ^TK
