@MojangSupport I want to change my username for my Mojang account because due to issues beyond my control I need to create a new one instead of migrating. How can I do this to keep my original username in the new account without migrating?

Migration to Microsoft accounts is mandatory and you can no longer access the Mojang accounts to play without Migrating. msft.it/6014bqZH2 ^AC

That's not what I want. I want to change the username of my old account so I can make a new one with the username of the original one. I can't migrate because I lost access to my email address god knows how long ago and now if I create a new account I need to use a different user

Your Transaction ID serves as your proof of purchase it's what you received when you first purchased the game. If you do not have access to that it's fine we can still help but you do need to put in a ticket for help with this. ^AC

Well would it be possible to delete the account instead? I just want that particular username freed so I can use it in my new one

Deleting accounts is something we can do but you would still need to submit a ticket for assistance. For account and player saftey reasons we can only handle account issues through the ticketing system where our account specialists can help you out. ^AC

Would I still need that ID thing if that was the case? Cause I don't have the slightest idea where it is or if I even saved it
