Are you able to provide screenshots of what happens when you attempt to change the skin? We'd be happy to look into this further for you! ^AC

I've been testing and it seems that the skins don't work on older versions. From 1.15 backwards it doesn't work.

I have already solved it by changing the name of my Mojang profile ;)
