@MojangSupport I have two accounts for my windows 10 edition minecraft and java edition. It prompted me to merge my mojang account (The java account) to a Microsoft account. After doing this I cant login to the Java account and only the Windows 10 edition acount.

It was a lot more simple than that actually. It showed as only my Microsoft account in the launcher, but I could still use my Java account from within the launcher.
