The fact that a thread needed to be created to help troubleshoot issues shows how much this really dropped the ball. I genuinely hate we had to "migrate our account" for literally no reason at all. My "Microsoft mojang migrated account" no longer says I own Java. Fix now

That error typically happens when you're logging into a Microsoft account that doesn't have a game license. Double-check your credentials to make sure you're in the right account and take a look at this FAQ to see if it helps: bit.ly/3cluzz3 ^BT

When do you have to have created your account to be able to get the Cape?

Accounts created after Dec 1, 2020, are not eligible for the Migrator cape. Accounts created after this date started out as Microsoft accounts, so they don't need to migrate. ^NS

I'm not sure if my Minecraft account is even linked to an email, your support told me that my account will be deleted as a result. This seems a little unfair, I don't think I should have to buy the game again because of this.

All Minecraft accounts are linked to an email--even if you only log in with the username. We can certainly check out that ticket and provide some clarification if possible! Can you give us your ticket number? ^NS
