I have the same problem. on ubuntu java edition. I have a game pass and still not picking up demo only

It looks like a fix has gone out for this, so you should be able to play the game normally now. Please try again, and if you still can't play, definitely contact us at msft.it/6014wGpLe so we can investigate further! ^NS

Hi Mojang I have already sent email on the above. still not able to play on mincraft on ubuntu 20.04 Java editon. I already send the request to microsoft for a refund and canceled the game pass. Its was the only game i was interested on using game pass. sad that i can't play
