@MojangSupport we are having trouble getting my sons Minecraft Java launcher to open on his new laptop

We can definitely look into that. Are you seeing any particular errors when you try opening the launcher? And just in case, keep in mind that Chromebook devices aren't compatible with Java Edition. ^NS
