@MojangSupport im having difficulties with a world I created earlier this year. I’ve spent countless hours on it and I went back to it after about 2 months of being away from it I’ve lost maybe 100 or so hours of progress on it. Is there anything I can do to get this back?

I'm really sorry to hear about that, I can understand how disheartening that would be. All Minecraft worlds are stored locally; unfortunately, this means we are unable to recover lost worlds. Please see msft.it/6014khQuy for info on backing up your worlds in the future. ^NS
