@MojangSupport ive owned minecraft since before the mojang accounts existed and have migrated my original account to the mojang accounts, and now i migrated that to microsoft. i was told that i should get bedrock for free but i do not have it.

Unfortunately, the promotion to get a code for bedrock along with a Java Edition purchase ended on April 20th, 2020. As such, we will not be able to provide you with a code for Minecraft for Windows. You can read the full announcement here: msft.it/6018k0U8g ^NS

So basically youre saying that the version i own is basically going to become defunct and you wont honor my purchase of the game that i have had almost since first launch and want me to pay not only again, but more for the game i already own?

You definitely don't need to buy Java Edition again; but unfortunately we aren't able to offer a copy of the bedrock edition at this time. If you're having any trouble accessing Java Edition though, please do let us know so we can help out! ^NS
