@MojangSupport I know we should report bug elsewhere but I couldnt use the bug tracker. The bug happens when you middle click on something to put it in your hand and all the hotbar slots are taken, it will put it in the first slot even if there is a tool there.

I'm sorry to hear about that bug you're getting. Unfortunately the best place for these really is the bug tracker--the development team keeps track of things there. Please try searching for the bug on msft.it/6012k9rkY again. Try a new browser if yours isn't working! ^NS
