@MojangSupport Why you removed the "before piston active" event on the bedrock edition ? I have a addon that allow me to get blocksplit using that event but since the latest beta 1.18.10.20 it doesn't work anymore please bring it back.

Since Support is separate from the development team, I'm afraid we don't have information about specific update changes like this. I would recommend submitting a suggestion at msft.it/6017ksSfv so the developers can see it! ^NS
