@MojangSupport My daughter has just had to re buy minecraft. She is trying to set up with her old username that her friends know and the setup process is forcing her to create a new profile with a new name. It wont let her enter her old name and click the this is me option

Hey there, if the name your daughter wants to use is already in use, unfortunately, she'll need to choose a different username on her new account. To claim the previous name, you will need to repurchase the game on the same Microsoft account you originally purchased with. ^FF
