@MojangSupport Man, I am despondent right now. my legacy account is lost due to a combination of a lost Hotmail account and the Mojang migration. Got it for $20 xmas 2012 been playing ever since. At this point it's more about the sentimentality of it all than the price. :(

@MojangSupport If there's anybody out there I can give what info I've got abt it (username, last password, security questions, etc.) in exchange for safe return of the goods.
