it says updating launcher but halfway through it just says it failed to download. i restarted Xbox (Game pass PC), my pc i even deleted the original launcher but still nothing. it says it's installed but it's just that updating message.

Yea no it's fine the problem was I didn't put it on the C drive. I figured it out myself thanks.

Delete the game and launcher entirely and download it all over on the Xbox app. Put it on the C drive and it should work
