My email I bought Minecraft with was a school email, they terminated it when I left the school and for years I didn't know. I can't confirm it's my email and my account because of this. I can play on the account still and I'm logged in currently.

But because the accounts are being migrated to Microsoft now, I can't migrate my account as it requires email confirmation. Best possible outcome would be to change to a new email, keep my account and migrate. @MojangSupport
