Ps4 realms say I cannot connect to realms everyday after the recent update, friend also has the same issue for their realm. Any ideas how to fix the issue?

I have had mincraft purchased for well over half a decade, after about a 6 month break I can only play the demo version on the launcher, I'm not sure how to fix this, I can still log into my account but surely I don't have to re purchase the game?
