Big time sound bug in @Minecraft on the new Series X on Realms. Don’t here run sounds or a lot of others, only selects sounds like cats. Hope there is a fix soon!! @MojangSupport

I actually did report it under the Realms. It does seem to be in any mode however on the new Series X
