@MojangSupport I am trying to sign up for a monthly subscription to use Java edition but when I click BUY on the plan I want it takes me to a page which says that I need to purchase Minecraft first but I already have Minecraft installed.

When only the demo mode is accessible or it's asking you to pay again, this means that you're logging in with an account that doesn't contain a Minecraft profile/username or a copy of the game. please visit help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/โ€ฆ for possible solutions. Thanks! ^AS

I have only ever had one email address for over 20 years. It is not possible that I logged in with a different email address.
