@MojangSupport Hi! My son has Minecraft for windows starter collection but would like the Java version (mums mess up oops!) can i “upgrade” the version he has or do i need to pay out full price again for the java version?

Hello! We are not able to directly swap out copies of the game. If you bought Windows 10 Edition and want to change to Java, you will need to contact Microsoft support and refund your purchase here: support.microsoft.com/en-us/… Hope this helps! ^SP
