@MojangSupport simple question that I can’t seem to find the answer to. If my son owns Minecraft for his Nintendo switch, is there a way to transfer that account to a PC? Or do I have to purchase a new copy for the PC?

Unfortunately, cross play does not mean that you own the game on all the eligible platforms, but merely that they can play together. Different platforms (Xbox, PC, Switch, etc.) require different purchases. ^JS
