7 hours later, after 3 reboots, attempting to download it from the @Minecraft site, trying to download it from the Microsoft store app, trying to download the Java version, and many child years and adult vulgar words, the approval process finally almost worked.

So now another round of updates and ANOTHER round of reboots.
You know whose apps and devices worked immediately? That’s right—my two kids who got iPads for Christmas. We are nearing 8 hours into the ownership experience and my 8 year old daughter STILL can’t play.

for a child… In fact, my youngest child… Still is not working. Hours after lunch and dinner, waiting for reboot and installs and updates. I had to end up disabling all of the family controls and purchase restrictions so that I could even get the damn thing to run. And then,

the purchase that my eight-year-old daughter was looking forward to, including the mine coins to buy whatever it is she wanted to buy, did not show up. I was charged for them, sure, so maybe @MojangSupport can find them or rescue them from the clutches of an ender dragon.
