I get the feeling the support team is as useless as EA's.

Yeah it pretty much is, I bought Minecraft on PC a long time ago and I forgot my login and I was never able to get a reply from the support team so I just ended up buying it again

My friend sent them a ticket back at the end of August early September, and their support site says they're still answering tickets from July 17th* I think. And it's been like that for a week
