Hey @MojangSupport, why can't I buy a java edition gift code? All it does is redirect me to amazon.com, where it's "currently unavailable". Are you trying to get me to use third-party sites or something?

But if you register a new account you can purchase it at minecraft.net/store with that account. ^DS

Yeah, but I don't want to register a new account, I already have two. I want to buy a gift code for a friend that doesn't have the game.
