@MojangSupport Why is having the transaction ID necessary when changing email? I was 13 at the time the account was bought and I havent been able to retrieve it, isnt security questions enough?

We need to verify it when making changes to an account. Security questions can be changed, the transaction ID can't be changed. ^DS

So basically I cant change my email then because I dont know what email was used, and I didnt pay for it. Why not send an email to the old email with a warning that the email has been changed on the account?
