@MojangSupport So, I bought Minecraft on Switch back in July of last year, but now there is one coming out on the 21st of this year... will my old version be updated or will I have to buy it again?

You will not need to purchase this new edition. You will be prompted to go to the eshop to get the new version for free. ^JH
