We're not currently seeing any other reports. Are you getting any specific error messages, and is this just with servers or is this with Realms and/or other multiplayer worlds as well? ^FF

Minecraft Support does not add capes to or remove capes from player accounts. If you did not receive the Vanilla cape after purchasing both versions of the game on PC, we are not able to assist with that at this time. ^FF

Do you receive any error messages when this happens? And what troubleshooting have you tried so far? Initially, I'd recommend making sure that you are up-to-date on video card drivers and checking to make sure that no parts of the game are being blocked by firewall settings. -JL

Are you experiencing the same kind of lag with other packs? If so, let's have you submit a ticket: msft.it/6018idAaG. If it's only happening with certain packs, try removing or changing those packs and see if there's any improvement. ^FF

Minecraft Support does not change Java profile names for players. Since the system is fully automated, there is no way to circumvent it for any reason nor can we discuss any details, but you should be able to change your profile name again after 30 days have passed. ^FF
