We're not the developers so I couldn't tell you if this is working as intended! Community boards are a great way to get insight into interactions like this. ^TK
If you can, can you try and switch over to a hardwire connection to see if that helps? I would also uninstall/reinstall to see if there are corrupt files at play. ^TK
The only thing I would suggest to do is backing up your single-player worlds:
