If your Xbox privacy settings are correct, then you might need to check and see if you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. Without an Xbox Live Gold subscription, you won't be able to access multiplayer content. ^FF

The Cauldron error code means that Minecraft couldn't reach the authentication servers, or the connection has timed out, due to either a temporary service outage or issues with your game or internet connection. Can you let us know what troubleshooting you've tried so far? ^FF

Can you tell us what version of the game you're playing (Java or Bedrock)? If this is a Java account, do you have a migrated Mojang account, or did you already use a Microsoft account to sign in and play Minecraft? Let us know so we can point you to the right direction! ^FF
