Private Servers are run by the moderator so you'll need to reach out to the moderator to report the players if they are causing issues. ^TK

I would try switching to a hardwire connection and then even power cycle your router to see if it helps. Is this on a Realm btw? ^TK

Do you have any content that you're not using on your Nintendo Switch? Worlds, Maps, or anything else? If so, I would suggest removing them first and then try again. Sometimes switch has storage issues that can cause lag. ^TK
