I've been on the receiving end of some Ghast fireballs from within the loading screen myself, it can be brutal. It sounds like this is Bedrock edition, right? Please visit our bug report site to see if the problem has already been reported: bugs.mojang.com. ^IV

Hmm, if the game itself isn't updating either, we'd suspect the game corrupted during the last update. Reinstalling would help clear that up, but it'd delete any worlds that aren't backed up. They could be saved to Xbox One's cloud game saves already: bit.ly/3ITFRH3 ^IV

Is this a Realm, a private server, or a single-player world that you're inviting her to? Additionally, which platforms are you both using? ^IV
Just to confirm, you're talking about the arrow next to the Create World button in Minecraft for Windows? This should open a file selector and creates a world from a .mcworld file from somewhere else, it doesn't allow you to move specific structures from one world to another. ^IV

If you did not purchase both versions of Minecraft on the same Microsoft account on PC before June 6, 2022, then sadly it is not possible to become eligible for the Vanilla Cape. Game Pass is a subscription service and does not count as buying the game. ^FF
